The AQUACEL™ Foam dressing is a sterile Hydrofiber™ foam wound dressing consisting of:

a breathable and impermeable outer polyurethane film, which provides an antibacterial and antiviral barrier;
a soft, multi-layered, absorbent core pad containing polyurethane foam; and a wound-contact layer of Hydrofiber™ (sodium carboxymethylcellulose).
