I wanted a cheap pair of shears to trim matted pet fur at home and purchased a pair of these a few years ago and they worked great for that. I have a new out of beauty school employee who needed some decent shears that hadn't been cutting manikin hair. I had her try mine before ordering these for her. These are a great starter shear that are inexpensive and will work well for her until she builds up her cliental and gets a desire for more expensive things. She really liked the removal rings and she thought that they worked great.. she has already cut her fingers twice. lol.
