One blade comes down from the top and and the other comes up from the bottom. The Stainless Steel blades are angled as in the original version so that the V2 will never dull like traditional razor-blade cutters. In addition to retaining these key components we have listened to our customers and added a centering device to this version. Now centering is a breeze! The V2 will split everything from large hard Calcium supplements..to small soft pills with ease and accuracy.
