The Major 10% Povidone-Iodine Solution is a topical antiseptic for cuts scrapes burns and minor skin wounds. It is a healthcare antiseptic for the preparation of the skin prior to surgery and an antiseptic cleanser for the preparation of the skin prior to injection. Do not use in the eyes or apply over large areas of the body. This solution contains 10% povidone iodine (equivalent to 1% titratable iodine) an antiseptic. It is free from animal by-products alcohol dye gluten latex and preservatives.
